I unpicked the drawstring channel and removed the twill handle, this bag is taller than usual and it was just flopping around.

“Yes, yes,” I’d rather have a bossy Tom Nook annoyingly flopping around anyways.

Homemade coconut raisin granola with walnuts and chia, slightly under roasted so it’s still got some chew, mixing in the raisins and coconut after it’s out of the oven, but still warm.

Sometimes when we make homemade granola, we take it slow, keeping it natural using local maple syrup and honey, other times we take the absolute easiest route and use regular old store bought pancake syrup. There are no rules.

Catching the end of lilac season, and the beginning of spider season.

regular things

I can’t get over how the months are just blurring together, life is busily unbusy if that makes sense? ..let’s catch up.

Late day notions pouch, I’m a fool for grid fabric, translucent tools and caramel apple pops. The white needle is carved from bone, which is cool and gross, but I rarely use it because it’s so huge and when I think deep the gross wins out.

I sewed a zipper and it was a big deal! ⭐

It’s a pen AND marker ..but most importantly it has a really cute name. I gave one to Lex, she immediately unwrapped it, threw away the package and started using it! ..WHAT.. Clearly I have not passed down my “never for actual use” attitude I have towards cute stuff. I guess I can understand, it’s a pen ..but still, I absolutely can’t!

P.S These were a surprise from Lex so I felt obligated to share with her, but to make it easier on myself, I gave her the ugliest one.

Always masks, because I would never want you to think that I’m not still taking this pandemic absolutely fucking serious.

A bigger than average Mr.Bundles Cotton Washboard at 40ish stitches. If you’d like to make one, you can find my free pattern here! ♡

Curbside bubble tea is still one of my favorite things.

Gosh, this cute stuff ♡
