Flash of pink inside, that peeks out just ever so slightly. Worked first (30) of brim in hot pink, including the purl round for the turn, then switched to main body color and worked as written.
While our daughter awoke to her 5th snow day of the new year out in Boston, here on the northern prairie it’s been rather mild, considering we are usually the ones buried under. Today winter stopped by, beginning the day with sleety snow softly tinging off the windows, coating the 100 year oaks. What a perfect lazy day to tuck in a make stuff.
Like a cowl for my husband (he picked a very rustic wool) and much like the trees above, he is soon to be covered in thick rugged bark! This texture is perfection, compact, stretchy and squeeze me squooshy ..sadly, completely hidden by this brambly wool! Pattern: Collina Cowl by Jenn Emmerson
A recent co-op order of Colour Adventures and in a total chalklegs move, I went with only 2 colors (puppy & tea rose) on several different bases, just because I wanted to get to know the feel of each and too often my comparison abilities are slightly inhibited, because I’m almost always 100% influenced by color. I was still wooed, I am so happy sitting right here.
The shape of the Garter Ear Flap Hat is really cute, plump garter, built in earflaps, with a little sprout toot out the top.
I’ve been making all the tiny hats, this one is a Sourball Bonnet.
Look at my cool new graphic, my thoroughly amazing family didn’t want me to be frustrated/suck/scream anymore, so they surprised me with new technologies for my pathetically outdated ones. A major upgrade to all my computering and printering needs, I’m so excited! There is definitely more I want (need) to understand, because there are so many good things I want to start ..just as soon as I can figure it out, so for now in the between I am just gonna play!
