While our daughter awoke to her 5th snow day of the new year out in Boston, here on the northern prairie it’s been rather mild, considering we are usually the ones buried under. Today winter stopped by, beginning the day with sleety snow softly tinging off the windows, coating the 100 year oaks. What a perfect lazy day to tuck in a make stuff.

Like a cowl for my husband (he picked a very rustic wool) and much like the trees above, he is soon to be covered in thick rugged bark! This texture is perfection, compact, stretchy and squeeze me squooshy ..sadly, completely hidden by this brambly wool!

A recent co-op order of Colour Adventures and in a total chalklegs move, I went with only 2 colors (puppy & tea rose) on several different bases, just because I wanted to get to know the feel of each and too often my comparison abilities are slightly inhibited, because I’m almost always 100% influenced by color. I was still wooed, I am so happy sitting right here.
