fall like blueberries & peaches

The leaves changed quickly and are all but gone now, I wish I could’ve enjoyed the colors for just a little longer. I love how grown up the little nineteen hundred house looks against the fall shades, the dark and gloomy days suit both it and me 💕

There will be black shutters at some point, we would love for them to be real hung working shutters and could probably pull it off upstairs because it still has the original solid wood windows and storms, but doubt how useable they would be with the modern full length screens downstairs, I would have to open and shut them from the outside (ugh..haha) and knowing how lazy I am, it would be a zero light dungeon house 98% of the time. (also why only update ½ of the windows?)

Year Two

This was our fifth trip out and we will never get used to it taking 30+ minutes to travel a half mile.

Deep in the city, Boston was beautifully in bloom ..what a gorgeous view our girl had, you can almost see her waving from the 2nd floor! HI chachi  ♥

Touring around .. such architecture

we will never get used to a city with so much design and history packed into the tiniest of spaces.

It went from 94ºF in Northampton (HELLO WEBS!) to right around 55ºF on the coast south of Boston. “Winds in the east, mist coming in, like something is brewing about to begin.”

While we may never fully get used to thick city air, bustling city streets or the organized disorder, it is slowly becoming comfortably familiar (less and less swears with each trip!) Another year notched in, we are 3 in tow, homeward towards Midwestern skies, flat lands and reliable quiet ♥
