this & that

This color 💕 that absolutely perfect dusty color, I love the blue jeans & scraped knees of this!

This pale bag worked up in that wonderfully starchy cotton fabric, 100% of the reason I hate pre-washing fabrics is loosing that stiffness. (Question: I also cut a dress out of this fabric ..would it be too over the top to coordinate with my tote by adding in another matching layer to my knitting power suit?)

This soak, a woolly perfumed blend of brambly hay, rose & eucalyptus.

This is finished, but that color still ..ooof so good..

Oh, hi 💕

  1. Awww, Happy Valentines Day 💕🌸💕 those colors make you all rosy with a cute little nose! Love the dress and fabric oh I want to be able to wear something I make….

  2. I’m mostly a hot rosy kinda person ..sadly way to warm blooded for a big wool collar around my neck!

Dona once you get the nerve up to start, and make a crazy weird fitting garment (because we’ve all done that!) it will only get easier and easier, even if if the sews themselves become more challenging. You can do it! 💕

(P.S I used old cotton sheets for my first dresses, and still do if I run across a cheap cute one! So much fabric there!!!)

  3. Oh gosh, you’re so cute and so are those knits!! And no, you can not be too matching says I. You would be what they call pulled-together.

Totally different topic…I noticed you have one of those metal odor-removing bars…do they work?!?

    1. Hi Sarah, you are so sweet to say! 💕 matching dress is going to happen!

Oh my gosh YES those metal bars work like magic, it’s one of those kitchen gadgets that has you like ..errr, really? But YES! ..ours has been used almost daily for the last 10+ years 😄
